Bacon and Cheese Omelette

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 rashers of bacon
  • 25g cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 1tsp vegetable oil


  1. Cook the bacon in a small frying pan until crispy
  2. once cooked chop up the bacon into small bite size pieces and leave a side for a few moments
  3. In another small frying pan heat the vegetable oil for a minute
  4. Break the eggs in a jug and mix together using a fork
  5. Pour the mixture into the pan and mix using the fork
  6. Continue to mix the egg in the pan using the fork until the eggs start to solidify.
  7. Add the bacon pieces and grated cheese
  8. using a spatula fold the omelette in half making sure that the bacon and cheese are in the middle
  9. cook for a few minutes to ensure the cheese has melted

10. serve and eat whist hot

For healthier option instead of frying the bacon, you can grill it. Don’t worry all of the flavour remains and tastes the same.
